Single Flat Roof Carport

The U-Bild Single Flat Roof Carports are specifically designed and manufactured to provide a simple and economic shelter for the car, or the bbq and outdoor area, a sturdy solution to keep the sun and the elements either off the car and your head.

Wind Zones

Flat Roof Carports are designed for Region A and Region B wind rated areas only in Australia. These are NOT suitable for cyclone-prone areas. (See map below for reference)

Council Approval

You will need to contact your local council or building certifier to see what requirements are needed for your location. Spanbilt can provide you with the Engineering and Form 15, but it is up to the customer to apply for council approval directly.

The Kit & Assembly

Spanbilt Direct provide the kitset only as part of a flat pack. Included in the pack is an assembly manual. You will need two or more people to assemble the carport and the right tools. Many of our customers employ the services of a local handyman.

We deliver Australia wide and have 2 options available.

Home Delivery
You can have the product delivered directly to your home for a fee (depending on your location) Australia-wide*. Please be aware we cannot deliver to some remote areas and it is an ‘Assisted Delivery Service’. For home delivery of Gardens Kits in a box, the delivery will be made to the front of the property only or up to 6 metres from the truck. For larger steel building packs, they can only be offloaded in the near vicinity of the safe access for the delivery truck. Delivery to the rear of the property is not available due to OH&S regulations. Refer to our T&Cs page.
Click & Collect from Depot
You can have your shed delivered to your local depot for $35 per item. We will provide you with updates when it is dispatched and when its ready to be collected. You can select the closest pick up point to your location when checking out. Please be aware you will have 48 hours to arrange collection once it arrives. After this period a daily storage fee will be payable when you collect.
Factory Collection
If you live in Brisbane or surrounding areas, you can opt to collect your shed from our factory in Crestmead. This is free of charge but you must have the appropriate vehicle for collection. Please note you will need to wait to be notified of when you shed is ready for collection before planning your trip to the factory. Pickup Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am - 2pm, Friday 6:30am - 12pm (Closed Saturday & Sunday)

What to expect?

All products are made to order. Please allow 4 up to 6 weeks for manufacturing. During busy periods there may be delays and be mindful these are big products to freight so we cannot 100% guarantee delivery dates.

We deliver to metro and most rural areas across the country, with the EXCEPTION of:

Most Australian Islands including Stradbroke Island (4183), Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands (6798, 6799), Russell Island QLD (4184), and certain postcodes.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to the Northern Territory at this time due to high freight costs.

Purchased Smartlocker 1100 Series shed as an additional storage option. Had shed delivered to a depot from factory, large trailer needed to collect with weight 300+ kilo's and comes packed approx 3 metre length. Shed was a two man job which took approx 12+ hours, roller door install was a bit tricky for the inexperienced, certain items needed to be cut to length (which is odd given its a kit with set dimensions). Shed was installed on a purpose built slab. Advice is to get a professional installer unless you are a very good handyman. Overall its a very good shed.

The finished shed is for our new pool equipment. The equipment was installed today and it fitted perfectly with space to spare for my pool robot. I got shelves from Stratco as Spanbilt did not have any, these were a must for the sundry items required for a pool. All up I thought the shed was very good for what we wanted. Everything was good from placing an order to delivery. But assembly instructions were so confusing and half of the instructions were missing. So I had to redo the shed few times and missed putting in few parts correctly. Please get assembly instructions clear so it's easy to assemble. Thanks.

Overall happy with finished shed but was frustrating for handyman to erect, actually took nearly 2 days to put up and he had to get someone else to help him so was quite costly for me.

I purchased Spanbilt Yard Saver S52 shed because I wanted Non Heavy Duty type shed for my small backyard. I just finished installing it on an existing concrete pad. Installation manual and YouTube videos were very useful for easy installation. The shed is ideal for my needs. The price perfectly matched my budget. Online ordering process was easy. The delivery came within the expected time frame, order updates from Spanbilt was helpful. Delivery driver kept me informed about delivery time on the day and he was kind enough to carry the pack to where I needed.

Single yardsaver flat roof carport, delivered on time and picked up from depot and constructed casually in two days, only change is I added extra screws to the components to reinforce the complete structure, used chemset with the anchor screws. Overall very well designed and easy to build and looks great, already installed two batten lights on each purlin. Recommend this for anyone who needs a great carport for a ecomical price..

The only thing to let me down was the floor base. Not a very sturdy base at all. For the price of it, next time I'll get one fabricated up. he 3 stars are for the shed only. The floor base is 0/5 stars for me. Customer service is good however.
