This listing is for Engineering Papers ONLY for the Ubild Economy Gable Roof Single Cyclonic Carport. These documents are customised to meet site-specific engineering standards required for your property and local council approval.
Why do you need Engineering Papers?
If you require council approval before committing to your carport purchase, this is the ideal solution. It allows you to submit plans for approval without commencing manufacturing. Should approval not be granted, you haven’t made a full investment.
⚠️ Please note: Once a carport is purchased and manufactured without prior council approval, refunds are not possible. This Engineering Only option gives you peace of mind to proceed correctly.
What to Expect
- Engineering paperwork is typically signed off within 4–5 business days
- Documents are delivered electronically via email
Price Guarantee
- 30-Day Price Lock – Your garage price is secured for 30 days from the payment date of the “Engineering Only” request.
- Market Conditions – Due to fluctuating steel prices, we cannot guarantee pricing beyond 30 days.
Final & Non-Changeable Engineering Papers
Once engineering papers have been issued, signed, and delivered to you, they are considered final and cannot be altered. Any revisions will require a complete redesign, which will incur extra charges.
Changes or additions—such as skylights or colour changes will require a fresh application along with the associated costs. To prevent additional fees, please confirm all desired features, including colour choices, at the time of purchasing your engineering papers.
If you need modifications before placing your order, reach out to our team for a revised design quote from the engineers.
Carport Accessory Add-Ons
You may include the following upgrades in your engineering documentation by adding them at the time of your order:
- Carport Slab Attachment Kit – $460
- Cyclonic with 3m Height Extension – $633
If these features are not included at the time of engineering, and later required for council approval, a new application and fees may apply.
Wind Zone Engineering & Availability
- Available for Region A and Region B only – subject to your site’s wind speed report
- Each carport design is site-specific, ensuring it meets the structural requirements of your property and wind zone
- NOT AVAILABLE in NT, WA, SA, or TAS due to freight restrictions
