This listing is for Engineering Papers ONLY for the Ubild Economy Double Garage with Workshop (8.69m x 6m with Two Roller Doors). These documents are customised to meet site-specific engineering standards required for your property and local council approval.
Why do you need Engineering Papers?
If you need council approval before committing to your garage purchase, this is the ideal option. It allows you to submit your plans for approval without proceeding with manufacturing. If approval is not granted, you have not yet made a full investment. If you purchase a building without approval you wont be able to refund your investment.
What to Expect
- → Engineering paperwork is typically signed off within 4-5 business days.
- → Documents are delivered electronically via email.
Price Guarantee
- → 30-Day Price Lock – Your garage price is secured for 30 days from the payment date of the “Engineering Only” request.
- → Market Conditions – Due to fluctuating steel prices, we cannot guarantee pricing beyond 30 days.
Final & Non-Changeable Engineering Papers
Once engineering papers have been issued, signed, and delivered to you, they are considered final and cannot be altered. Any revisions will require a complete redesign, which will incur extra charges.
Changes or additions—such as personal access doors, skylights, or windows—will require a fresh application along with the associated costs. To prevent additional fees, please confirm all desired features, including colour choices, at the time of purchasing your engineering papers.
If you need modifications before placing your order, reach out to our team for a revised design quote from the engineers.
Accessories
To include additional features in your engineering papers, please add them to your order before submitting your Engineering Only order.
- → Window (max 2) – $269 each
- → Skylight (max 2) – $164 each
- → PA Door (max 1) – $380
If these accessories are not included in the engineering papers at the time of council approval, resubmitting them later may require a new engineering application.
Wind Zone Engineering & Availability
Available for Region A0-A5 and Region B1-B2 only subject to site wind speed report – CHECK YOUR WIND ZONE.
- → Each garage is site-specific, meaning the design is adjusted to meet your area’s wind zone requirements. This ensures its safety and appropriateness for the construction site.
- → Comprehensive Engineering documentation is supplied for all garage orders and necessary for obtaining local council approval.
- → Available in Region A0-A5 & Region B1-B2 only, subject to a site wind speed report.
- → NOT AVAILABLE in NT, WA, SA & TAS due to freight restrictions.
- → Important: Some site-specific wind zone reports may exceed the engineering limits of the Ubild Economy Garage due to terrain category effects.
