Australia Wide Delivery
At Spanbilt Direct, we pride ourselves on delivering our products across Australia with speed and reliability. With years of experience and strong partnerships with trusted freight providers, we ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
We deliver to metro and most rural areas across the country, with the exception of:
- Most Australian Islands including Stradbroke Island (4183), Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands (6798, 6799), and Russell Island, QLD (4184)
- Ubild Garages, which are unavailable in WA, SA, TAS, NT, and northern QLD
- Unfortunately, we're unable to deliver to the Northern Territory and Select Postcodes at this time due to high freight costs.
Delivery Options and Costs 
Depending on the size of the steel shed, we offer three delivery options:
Depot Collect
When checking out, you can opt for Depot Collect and select a nearby freight depot for collection from our provided options. There are several pickup points across Australia.
- Fee: $35, which covers forklift use and operator assistance.
- Once dispatched, you will receive tracking details, and the depot will contact you when your item is ready for collection.
Home Delivery
Alternatively you can choose Home Delivery at checkout for a hassle-free option.
Garden Sheds (YardStore and StoreMate):
Standard home delivery for $99.
Carports, Workshops, UBild Garages and Smartlockers:
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout. For some sheds or regions, you may need to contact us for a quote.
You will receive tracking details once dispatched, and the freight company will contact you to arrange delivery.
Factory Collect
We also offer the option to collect your order from our Crestmead factory in Brisbane, free of charge.
How it works:
- Select Factory Collect at checkout.
- Once your product is manufactured and packed, we will notify you and arrange a collection time.
- When collecting, bring an appropriate vehicle. Check the product pages for size and weight details, or speak to our team.
- Important: Please confirm the collection before your arrival, as products are made to order and will not be ready on the same day the order is placed.

Manufacturing and Dispatch
Garden Sheds and Storage Units
- Your garden shed will be manufactured within 4-7 business days once payment is received.
- Transport turnaround usually varies from 3 to 10 business days, depending on your location. We are based on the east coast, so Perth, for example, would take longer compared to Sydney or Melbourne.
Depot Pick-up Windows
Once notified that your shed has arrived at your nominated depot, you have 48 hours to organise pick up; otherwise, storage fees apply.
You can collect your shed Monday to Fridays between 8am and 2pm.
Home Delivery Windows
Home deliveries are normally done Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Smartlockers, Garages, Workshops and Carports
- Our larger buildings such as Smartlockers, workshops and carports are manufactured within 3 weeks, while garages require 4 weeks.
- Transport turnaround usually varies from 3 to 10 business days, depending on your location.

You can collect your shed Monday to Fridays between 8am and 2pm.
Home Delivery Windows
Home deliveries take place Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.
If you've chosen home delivery, your product will arrive within 3 to 10 business days from the dispatch date.
DELIVERY DISCLAIMER
You will receive a tracking number and a call from the freight company to arrange drop-off or collection. Please check your tracking regularly to stay updated on your products arrival. If you're in Southeast QLD, you'll receive a delivery date notification.
For home delivery of Gardens Kits in a Box, the delivery will be made to the front of the property only or up to 6 metres from the truck. For larger steel building packs, they can only be offloaded in the near vicinity of the safe access for the delivery truck. Delivery to the rear of the property is not available due to OH&S regulations.
Home delivery is an 'Assisted Delivery Service'—due to the size and weight of these flat-packed products, an able-bodied person must be present to receive the order.
Someone must be home to accept the delivery. If no one is available, then an 'Authority To Leave' can be organised with the freight provider.
Act promptly when contacted by the freight provider for collection to avoid daily storage fees. You have 48 hours to arrange collection or delivery.
Lead times may change without notice.
When Your Order Arrives
Once your shed arrives, we recommend you proceed with the following steps before attempting assembly:
1) Unpack and check all parts against the Parts List in the manual within 7 days.
2) Inspect for any damage to packaging or parts and notify us immediately.
3) Report missing parts, and we will help locate them or send replacements if needed.
Important: Our replacement policy is within 30 days of receiving the product, so we recommend checking everything within 7 days.
Fuel Surcharge
Due to rising freight and fuel costs, a small fuel surcharge is applied to orders.
1) What is it? : A small fee that helps cover the cost of transporting your shed to your location.
2) Why is it there? : Fuel and freight prices change, so instead of increasing all our shed prices, we keep it separate and only apply a small surcharge where needed.
3) When is it charged? : It’s clearly itemised at checkout alongside your delivery cost, so you can see the full total before placing your order.
